<trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>Аn analysis of modern alternative free skin grafting techniques has been presented. New approaches to traditional free skin grafting, fragmentary skin grafting, and epidermal and dermal skin grafting are described. The historical aspects, technical features, advantages, and limitations of various methods are reviewed. Shortand long-term treatment results using various methods are presented. Particular attention was paid to recipient wound healing mechanisms, donor-site complications, and clinical indications for each method. Technological innovations and specialized skin harvesting devices are described separately, allowing for independent research in original literature and more in-depth study. The review was prepared based on an analysis of current scientific publications with the aim of demonstrating the prospects for further improvement of free skin grafting methods in wound defect surgery.</p></trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>свободная кожная пластика</kwd><kwd>эпидермальный трансплантат</kwd><kwd>дермальный трансплантат</kwd><kwd>микроаутодермотрансплантаты</kwd><kwd>punch-трансплантаты</kwd><kwd>расщепленный кожный трансплантат</kwd><kwd>донорская зона</kwd><kwd>реципиентная зона</kwd><kwd>заживление ран</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>free skin grafting</kwd><kwd>epidermal graft</kwd><kwd>dermal transplant</kwd><kwd>microautodermal grafts</kwd><kwd>punch grafts</kwd><kwd>split-thickness skin graft</kwd><kwd>donor zone</kwd><kwd>recipient zone</kwd><kwd>wound healing</kwd></kwd-group></article-meta></front><back><ref-list><title>References</title><ref id="cit1"><label>1</label><citation-alternatives><mixed-citation xml:lang="ru">Бесчастнов В.В.
