Поиск литературы за период с января 2015 по август 2025 г. осуществляли в базах данных PubMed, Scopus, Google Scholar, КиберЛенинка. Для поиска использовали ключевые слова: «rib remodeling», «waist narrowing», «остеотомия ребер». После отбора и исключения дубликатов в анализ были включены 22 релевантные публикации оригинальные исследования, клинические случаи и систематические обзоры.</p></sec><sec><title>Результаты</title><p>Результаты. Современные техники (UUAIST, RibXcar, WASP, RIBOSS, ORUS) обеспечивают уменьшение длины окружности талии в пределах от 7 до 17 см. Ключевым фактором результативности методов с внешней фиксацией является послеоперационный комплаенс (ношение корсета). Серьезные интраоперационные осложнения (пневмоторакс) стали казуистическими при использовании интраоперационного ультразвукового контроля и пьезотома. Наиболее частыми осложнениями являются послеоперационная боль и преходящие парестезии.</p></sec><sec><title>Заключение</title><p>Заключение. Эволюция от тотальной резекции к малоинвазивному ремоделированию (контролируемая остеотомия) значительно повысила безопасность процедуры. Применение конкретного метода представляет собой индивидуальный выбор между инвазивностью, эффективностью и зависимостью от комплаенса. Для дальнейшей стандартизации необходимы проспективные сравнительные исследования с объективным мониторингом послеоперационного периода.</p></sec></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><sec><title>Purpose of a study</title><p>Purpose of a study: to systematize current data on the evolution, technical characteristics, efficacy, and safety profile of lower rib remodeling techniques for waist contour correction in aesthetic surgery.</p></sec><sec><title>Material and methods</title><p>Material and methods. A literature search was conducted in PubMed, Scopus, Google Scholar, and CyberLeninka databases from January 2015 to August 2025. Keywords included “rib remodeling”, “waist narrowing”, and “rib osteotomy”. A total of 22 relevant publications were included in the analysis, comprising original studies, clinical case reports, and systematic reviews.</p></sec><sec><title>Results</title><p>Results. Modern techniques (UUAIST, RibXcar, WASP, RIBOSS, ORUS) provide an waist circumference reduction ranging from 7 to 17 cm. Postoperative compliance, particularly corset use, is a key determinant of success in techniques involving external fixation. Severe intraoperative complications, such as pneumothorax, have become extremely rare with the use of intraoperative ultrasound guidance and piezoelectric instruments. The most common complications include postoperative pain and transient paresthesia.</p></sec><sec><title>Conclusion</title><p>Conclusion. The evolution from total rib resection to minimally invasive remodeling (controlled osteotomy) has significantly improved procedural safety. Method selection represents an individualized balance between invasiveness, efficacy, and dependence on patient compliance.
