History of the development of Lymphology in Tomsk: from experimental research to clinical practice

Abstract
The history of lymphology in Tomsk primarily connected with the names of Gordey Maksimovich Iosifov (1870–1933) and Dimitry Arkadiyevich Zhdanov (1908–1971). This paper analyzes the work of these scientists in Tomsk and the impact of their scientific heritage on further scientific research on the study of the lymphatic system and the application of this knowledge in clinical practice.
