Abstract

The presented study was based on a comparative analysis of the cost – efficiency of a single-method breast reconstruction using lipografting technology and traditional reconstruction methods, such as the two-stage expanderimplant method and the TRAM flap method.

The conducted comparative analysis shows that the method of breast reconstruction using lipografting technology has comparable efficiency with traditional methods, but is statistically significantly more cost – efficiency (p < 0.05).
